Our Story
Louis Arsenault has been a Christ follower since 1989. After his first short term mission trip in 1991, Louis realized the main focus in life was missions! Over the next 25 years, he took over 20 short term mission trips to 11 countries. While in the Philippines, God gave him the idea for a solar powered panel that would power a projector for showing the Jesus film in remote locations without access to electricity. It would sit atop a motorcycle and could reach even the most inaccessible places. While in Ghana, West Africa, God spoke to him and confirmed that Ghana was to be the launch point and “Freedomoto” was born! CLICK Freedommoto above to see this amazing evangelistic innovation. It took 2 years to design, build and ship the first Freedomoto to Ghana. Since then, John’s Heart has expanded from Jesus Film evangelism outreach to the multi-faceted ministry it is today.

Utilizing the Jesus Film as the primary tool, we established 10 churches in the first 6 years.

Starting in 2018, in addition to showing the Jesus Film as an evangelistic outreach, we introduced worship into the market square, creating incredible opportunities to see God heal, resulting in many salvations. That year alone we recorded 263 healings and 55 salvations!!!
Ongoing Discipleship Training
With the goal of strengthening and encouraging local Believers, we conduct discipleship training with multiple churches.
Mission House
The Mission House serves 2 purposes:
- Houses international teams, providing opportunities for short-term mission trips
- Serves as a training facility for local disciples to advance the Gospel in their own culture. Our first week-long conference in January 2022 resulted in 19 salvations in only 2 hours of outreach through 4 teams of local disciples!
